- Details of Disappearance:
- On April 14, 2004, at 2:30 a.m., Cho, a UCSD freshman, was wading in the ocean at La Jolla Shores in San Diego with two friends. A strong current (a riptide) pulled him out to sea. He couldn’t swim, and his friends couldn’t save him. Cho is believed to have drowned, but his body was never found. He’s still listed as a missing person.
