* **Stopped in Reno:** He spent the night of October 26th at his cousin’s house in Reno, Nevada (about 30 miles from Truckee). They were both starting the same job.
* **Never started work:** He was supposed to start work on October 28th but never showed up.
* **Last known activities:** He used his debit card at 1:45 pm on October 28th at a Truckee gas station and spoke to his girlfriend on his phone at 2:00 pm that same day.
* **Belongings left behind:** He left his laptop, work clothes, and other belongings at his cousin’s place in Reno.
* **Car found later:** His car was discovered a year later, October 6, 2016, by a hunter in a forest far from any roads, about 40 miles north of Truckee. The car is not suited for off-road driving.
* **Court date:** He missed a court appearance in Barstow on November 5th for a DUI.
* **Family’s concerns:** His family says it’s completely out of character for him to disappear, and they fear he’s dead, even though police haven’t found evidence of foul play.
