- Details of Disappearance:
- Danielle Sleeper vanished from her Magnolia, Texas home on March 22, 2015. The night before, she and her husband, Austin, argued after a cookout. They left in their truck, but Danielle wanted to stay at a friend’s house. Austin insisted she come home.
Danielle never showed up for plans the next day. Her phone showed activity until 3:12 AM, then only pinged near her home two days later. Her email and bank accounts were untouched for days before her disappearance.
Austin acted strangely. He didn’t report Danielle missing, and when he said he was picking up her car, he returned alone. He claimed she left on foot while he was out, but their house was messy, which was unusual for Danielle. He also quickly sent his and Danielle’s 3-year-old son to his mother in Louisiana.
Danielle’s older sons were in Child Protective Services due to an incident involving Austin. Danielle was considering a divorce because of this and Austin’s pending child injury charges. They weren’t sleeping together.
Police searched Austin’s belongings and home but haven’t ruled him out as a suspect. Danielle’s purse and phone are missing. Her disappearance is unsolved, and foul play is suspected because she was a loving mother who wouldn’t leave her children without warning or her phone behind.
