- Danielle, a teenager from Princeton, New Jersey, ran away from home on January 11, 2003. Three and a half years later, in November 2006, she was found safe and sound in Jersey City, New Jersey. She’d been living with her boyfriend at his grandmother’s apartment. Because she was 18 years old by then, the police couldn’t make her go back home, and she talked to them and her mom. No one will be facing charges because of her running away.
