- Michael disappeared in April 1995. He was last seen on April 3rd in Laytonville, California, leaving to drive to Garberville. His car was found abandoned in Willits, California on April 3rd (but not towed until April 20th), and someone told his family about it on April 21st. There was nothing in the car to explain where he went. Because of this uncertainty, some records say he went missing on April 22nd, but his last confirmed sighting was April 3rd. Basically, he vanished without a trace.
