- Lenz vanished from Los Angeles in December 1982. Years later, in 1993, someone found his bones buried on a hillside near Newhall, California. The bones were wrapped in a tarp. It wasn’t until April 2012 that they were identified as Lenz’s. Police are still trying to figure out who killed him.
