- Details of Disappearance:
- On March 7, 2011, Goran Ristovski left his Los Angeles home and drove east on Interstate 10. His van ran out of gas near the Arizona-New Mexico border. He called his fiancée for money on March 9th—the last time anyone heard from him.
Ristovski walked away from his van. Searchers followed his footprints for 16 miles into New Mexico, but lost them near Lordsburg. His phone, wallet, and water bottle were found a few miles away.
Ristovski had a business degree and worked as a floor technician. He had a young child. His parents said he had a history of short disappearances due to schizophrenia, but this was much longer.
Police in both California and New Mexico investigated, but his disappearance remains a mystery.
