Details of Disappearance:
On March 22, 1995, a woman named Childers disappeared. She left her home in Bessemer City, North Carolina, for a date in Clover, driving her dark blue 1985 Chevrolet Caprice. She was never seen again.

Her car was found abandoned about two weeks later, April 9th, in a South Carolina woods. The license plate was gone, but there were no signs of violence.

Childers worked at Threads USA and lived with her former in-laws. They reported her missing on March 29th, a week after she disappeared, because she sometimes disappeared for a few days. She left behind two uncashed paychecks.

She was in the middle of a divorce, and her ex-husband was suspected, but he died before police could charge him. The case is still unsolved.
