Details of Disappearance:
In June 1980, a woman named Daneault vanished after leaving a club in Manchester, New Hampshire. She said she was going to a party and was never seen again. This was unusual for her, as she had two young sons and lived with a roommate.

Six weeks earlier, a 14-year-old girl, Laureen Rahn, disappeared nearby. Daneault and Rahn looked alike, but police haven’t linked their disappearances.

Adding to the mystery, Daneault lived near Terry Peder Rasmussen, a suspected serial killer. Rasmussen used many aliases, including “Bob Evans.” He was later convicted of killing his wife and is suspected in at least five other deaths. These include the murder of Denise Beaudin and the deaths of a woman and three girls found near Bear Brook State Park. In 2019, the woman and two of the girls were identified. The third girl, Rasmussen’s daughter, remains unidentified. Police have a sketch of her and are working to find out who she is. Her family may have ties to the Navajo Nation and Mississippi.

While police don’t know if Rasmussen was involved in Daneault’s disappearance, they are investigating a possible link. The case remains unsolved.
