Details of Disappearance:
On June 11, 1979, Diane and her 14-year-old daughter, Tammy, vanished from their Daytona Beach, Florida apartment. A neighbor saw them walking away from home early that morning. They left everything behind – their belongings and even money in the bank.

Tammy’s bones were found in Georgia in 1986, but it took years to identify them. It wasn’t until 2013 that they were confirmed to be Tammy’s. Diane’s body has never been found.

Police believe Diane’s boyfriend, Benjamin Ponder, was responsible. He lived in the area where Tammy’s remains were discovered and always claimed to be innocent, but he died in 2009 without the case being solved. Diane’s family is still hoping for answers.
