Police suspect Warren Leslie Forrest, a serial killer, may be connected to Diane’s disappearance, and to the 1971 disappearance of another young woman, Jamie Grisim. Forrest was convicted of murdering one woman in 1978 and is serving a life sentence. He’s suspected of killing at least six other young women in the Vancouver area, and the bodies of three more possible victims were found. Although he’s a suspect, he’s never been charged with Diane’s or Jamie’s disappearance, or with the deaths of the other women. Diane’s case is still a mystery.
