- Little Diona disappeared from Santa Ana, California on October 4, 2005. Her mom, Mika Mochizuki, who didn’t have legal custody, took her. The FBI issued a warrant for Mika’s arrest in January 2007 because she ran away to avoid facing charges.
Mika (who might also use the name Mika Maria Peterson, and sometimes her last name is spelled Mochizulti) is about 5’2″ to 5’5″ tall, weighs between 112 and 132 pounds, and has brown hair and eyes. She’s Asian, of Japanese descent, and speaks English and Japanese. She was 32 years old when she took Diona. A picture of Mika is available.
It’s thought that Diona and Mika are in Japan, where Mika was born. Nobody knows where Diona is now, and the case is still open.
