- On February 5, 1998, Vasquez disappeared. He was in San Ysidro, California, about to turn 36. He was with friends in a van and told his girlfriend he’d be home soon, but he never showed up. A few days later, the van was found in a parking lot. Not much is known about what happened, and San Diego police are still trying to figure it out.
