- Two people, Cruz-Rodriguez and John Iglesia-Alvarez, vanished from Midland, Texas in October 2015. Their bones were discovered in a hole near West County Road 116 three years later, in February 2018. Police positively identified the remains in July of that year. They believe Angel Luis Lebron-Rivera killed them, as the two men were staying at his place right before they disappeared, and warrants for his arrest have been issued.
