- Details of Disappearance:
- Audrey, a young woman, married Ronald in 1957. They lived in Reedsburg, Wisconsin, and had two children. Their marriage was reportedly abusive, and Audrey reported Ronald for assault and threats on July 4th, 1962, saying he’d hurt her and threatened to kill her.
Three days later, Audrey left home to get her paycheck. She disappeared and was never seen again. Ronald claimed he was innocent and said he didn’t know where she was. Their babysitter said she and Audrey ran away together, taking a bus to Indiana. The babysitter returned home, but Audrey didn’t. The babysitter claimed Audrey left on her own, but Audrey’s family didn’t believe this.
Ronald passed a lie detector test, but Audrey’s disappearance remains a mystery and no one has been arrested. A picture of Ronald from around 1962 is included.
