Distinguishing Characteristics Biracial (Caucasian/Hispanic) male. Brown hair, blue/green eyes. Gamez has a small scar near his eyebrow. He has a tattoo of a rosary on his chest, a tattoo of writing on a scroll on the inside of his right forearm, and multiple tattoos on his left arm, including the letters “MOB”, two stacks of money, skull faces, and flames. A photo of his left arm tattoos is posted with this case summary. At the time of his disappearance, Gamez had a scruffy brown beard along his chin and jawline. He may go by his initials, AG.

Details of Disappearance:

On December 27, 2017, Gamez disappeared in Louisville, Kentucky. He was last seen with a friend, Teressa McCoy, heading to look at a house. Later that evening, their rented black SUV was found at Bessler’s Auto Parts; McCoy was dead inside from a gunshot wound. Gamez was gone.

Two years later, Larry Sauer was arrested and charged with murdering both McCoy and Gamez. Police think Sauer killed them at his house, dumped McCoy’s body in the SUV, and hid Gamez’s body somewhere else. Drugs were found at Sauer’s house. Gamez’s body has never been found, but because of what happened to McCoy, police believe he was also murdered. He was a loving father of two sons and would never just disappear. Sauer is awaiting trial.
