Details of Disappearance:: A woman named Davis was last seen in Greenville, South Carolina on February 12, 2020. Her mom kept getting text messages from Davis’s phone for a while after that, even into March. One text said Davis was back from a trip to Puerto Rico, but it turned out to be a lie – she’d never actually been there. Davis’s mom reported her missing in March. A year later, in April 2021, Davis’s body was found in the woods in northwest Georgia. Tests confirmed it was her. Police think she was killed around the time she disappeared (February 12, 2020, or shortly after). In August 2021, her fiancé, Michael Lee Wilkerson, was arrested and charged with her murder.
