- Allen disappeared in 1993. He was last seen in the Everglades National Park in Florida. Before his disappearance, Allen, a successful computer analyst, had changed a lot. He’d become deeply religious, quit his job, and became homeless. He traveled, sold his car, and spoke strangely to his friends and family, once telling his mother he was about to do something she wouldn’t like and she wouldn’t hear from him again. Two days later, he vanished. Nobody has heard from him since. His family thinks he might have joined a cult or harmed himself, but no one knows for sure. The mystery remains unsolved.
