Details of Disappearance:
On July 4th, 2001, a young woman named Arensdorf disappeared from Knickers Saloon in Dubuque, Iowa. She was last seen around 2:00 a.m.

Two brothers, Steven and David Peacock, were at the bar that night. Police questioned them and they took lie detector tests, but were never charged. Police also searched one of their cars.

The bartender, Robert Mootz, admitted to serving Arensdorf alcohol (she was underage). He said they planned to share a cab, but she never left with him. He wasn’t charged either.

Arensdorf’s family says she would never disappear without telling anyone. Police searched Leisure Lake after a report of a body, but it was a false alarm. Her boyfriend was also investigated and cleared.

Police don’t think Arensdorf left on her own, but her disappearance remains a mystery.
