- Details of Disappearance:
- Russ disappeared from Houston, Texas. She was working at an Exxon gas station near Crosstimbers Street and Interstate 45, and also driving a taxi. Feeling sick (she had an ear infection), she left work early at 2:15 a.m. with her boss’s permission.
A week later, her taxi was found. Most of her things were still inside, but her ID was cut in half, and some Beanie Babies she was selling were gone. Russ herself was nowhere to be found. The police have never solved the mystery of what happened to her.
