- A man named Dunbar vanished from Bear Valley, California on December 21, 2005. Over a year and a half later, in June 2007, hikers discovered his skull and some bones near a trail. Dunbar worked at the Bear Valley Ski Area as a ski lift operator; that’s where he was last seen. Police couldn’t figure out exactly what happened to him.
