Details of Disappearance:
Cynthia disappeared in Fairbanks, Alaska, in February 1995. Before she vanished, she worked at a McDonald’s and asked her parents for $500. They sent the money, but that was the last time they spoke to her.

Later that year, Cynthia’s parents were murdered in Mississippi. Their son-in-law, Roger, was accused of their killings but disappeared. He later killed himself, leaving a note confessing to the murders. He claimed Cynthia’s parents mistreated her and that she had killed herself, but he didn’t say where her body was.

Police don’t believe Roger’s story about Cynthia’s death and think he might have killed her too. Because of the suspicious circumstances, it’s believed Cynthia was likely murdered, and her case remains unsolved.
