Details of Disappearance:
On August 20, 1974, two teenage girls, Cynthia and Teresa, were left off at a movie theater in Marathon, Florida. They planned to hitchhike to a party but disappeared.

Cynthia was a normal teenager who liked water-skiing. She’d moved to Florida to live with her dad and brothers. She sometimes disappeared for a few days, so police first thought she and Teresa had run away. But Teresa was different; her family said she’d never do that. Now, police think neither girl ran away.

Sadly, the police file on their case was destroyed in a fire. Cynthia had four brothers (one is now dead) and a sister. Both Cynthia and Teresa’s disappearances remain mysteries.
