Details of Disappearance:
On March 9, 2004, a fire completely burned down an apartment building where Wilkins lived alone on 11th Avenue in Fulton, Illinois. Because her car was there, firefighters thought she was inside, but searches found no trace of her. Everyone else in the building was either out or escaped safely. The cause of the fire is unknown. Wilkins, a substitute teacher working towards a master’s degree, has never been seen or heard from since. The case is still a mystery.
