- On the evening of June 3rd, 2001, Erin was last seen in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She wanted to spend the night at a friend’s house on 12th Street Southeast. She went to her friend’s house around 8:45 pm to go to the movies, but her friend wasn’t there. Erin’s parents said it was okay for her to stay at her friend’s house, and a neighbor, Curtis Padgett, drove her there.
