- Erin and her friend Jeremy vanished after leaving a friend’s house in Erin’s black 1998 Pontiac Grand Am on April 3, 2000. Someone saw them driving near Sparta, Tennessee, around 10 p.m. that night. Twenty-one years later, a man found Erin’s car at the bottom of the Calfkiller River. The car was mostly undamaged, and the remains of Erin and Jeremy were inside. Police think they probably crashed into the river by accident.
