Details of Disappearance:
A mother and daughter, Lane and Joyce Hess, disappeared from their home in Myrtle Creek, Oregon on October 18, 1974. They lived on West Gazley Road, and no one has heard from them since. Lane’s brother, John Ramsower, lived next door. A few days after the women vanished, he died by suicide. Police think the women were murdered, but they don’t know if his suicide is connected. The mystery of what happened to Lane and Joyce remains unsolved.
