Details of Disappearance:
Piper disappeared in late November 1994. Her family last saw her on November 28th in Columbus, Georgia. Two days later, she called her daughter, saying she was going out of town to get married in Jerusalem and asked her daughter to get her mail. This was surprising because she wasn’t seeing anyone. She said she’d be back in a week.

A week after that phone call, her blue 1991 Mitsubishi car was found abandoned at the Columbus airport. There was no sign of Piper, no parking ticket, and no proof she ever boarded a plane. She hasn’t been seen or heard from since. She usually carried a distinctive black leather purse with colorful patches. Piper lived in Phenix City, Alabama. The police still haven’t solved her disappearance.
