- In January 2001, a man named May vanished from his home in Bellevue, Iowa. His roommate, Douglas DeBruin, was accused of killing him because DeBruin’s girlfriend said she saw him do it and cut up May’s body. Seven months later, May’s head was found in a bucket of concrete at a Missouri truck stop, but it wasn’t identified as his until 2005. The rest of his body has never been found.
