Details of Disappearance:
Guadalupe and her three-year-old daughter, Agueda, vanished from Longview, Washington on November 26, 2001. They were supposed to go shopping with Guadalupe’s husband, Gregario, in Portland, Oregon, to buy clothes for their unborn baby. Although separated, Guadalupe and Gregario were considering getting back together.

Their family’s Jeep Cherokee was later found abandoned in Kerman, California, at a relative’s house. Gregario had left it there and a message on the answering machine, but Guadalupe and Agueda were gone. They left all their belongings behind.

Guadalupe and Gregario were from Mexico, but Guadalupe and Agueda were American citizens. Guadalupe worked and had strong ties to her family and church in Washington. Someone anonymously called her family saying she was sick in Arizona, but this wasn’t confirmed.

Gregario’s family says his sister, Regina, also disappeared that day.

In 2020, Agueda and Gregario were found in Mexico. Agueda’s identity was confirmed, but Guadalupe was never found. It’s still unknown if Regina was also located. Guadalupe’s father believes she was murdered, and her family continues to search for her.
