- In November 1984, a man named Gaona vanished from Grand Prairie, Texas. No one reported him missing until two years later. Then, in February 1985, his body was found – naked and with a gunshot wound to the head – near a creek in Oklahoma, over 100 miles away. Police only identified him in 2017 using DNA. They had two suspects, but both are now dead, so the case is still unsolved.
