- Details of Disappearance:
- Isai vanished from West Valley City, Utah on August 20, 2012. He drove away in his parents’ white 1995 Honda Accord (license plate C950LR), with packed bags, and was never seen again. Police think he left on his own. His car was later found abandoned in California.
Three months later, Isai and a girlfriend may have tried to enter the U.S. from Mexico, but they were turned away. Nobody knows where he is since then.
Important: About a year before he disappeared (June 2011), Isai was charged as an adult with attempted murder. He’d allegedly tried to cut another inmate’s throat at a juvenile detention center in Salt Lake City, claiming the other kid was in a rival gang. It’s not known if this is connected to his disappearance. He’s considered a runaway, not someone who fled to escape the law.
His case is still a mystery.
