Police found Puchote’s car at the church with broken windows, blood, and signs of a violent attack. They also found the Ford Explorer abandoned nearby, also with blood inside.

Police know who the two attackers are; they live in Wimberly, and one is from the same Mexican town as Puchote (Guanajuato). Puchote knew this man. The police haven’t revealed their names yet.
