Details of Disappearance:
On March 15, 1975, a woman named Cunningham disappeared from Vail, Colorado. She worked at a ski shop and taught skiing. She was last seen leaving her apartment to go to a bar.

Ted Bundy, a serial killer, confessed to killing Cunningham before he was executed in 1989, even though he was never officially charged with her murder. Bundy said he tricked her into his car by pretending to be an injured skier needing help. He then kidnapped, raped, and strangled her, burying her body in a shallow grave near Rife, Colorado. Despite a search with a bloodhound in 1989, her body has never been found.

Bundy is also suspected in the deaths of many other young women, whose bodies have also never been found. Cunningham’s case is sadly just one example of his many unsolved crimes.
