- On September 10, 1975, Susan Perkins disappeared from her Phoenix, Arizona apartment. She’d had dinner with her fiancé, who saw her go inside her apartment around 10:30 PM. She was never seen or heard from again.
A week later, her yellow-and-green 1969 Oldsmobile Cutlass (license plate PHR281) was found abandoned. There was no sign of Perkins.
Her ex-husband told her sister they’d fought and that Perkins was dead, but police couldn’t prove he was involved. He’s since passed away.
Perkins worked as a dental assistant. Her parents are deceased, but her sister is still looking for answers. Police suspect foul play, and the case remains unsolved.
