- On March 14, 2000, Kurimoto was last seen heading to the beach in Kailua, Hawaii. Her towel and flip-flops were found on the beach, but she wasn’t there. She’s been missing ever since.
Police think she had an accident in the ocean. She couldn’t swim and usually only went in the water up to her knees. They believe she might have fallen and drowned, but her body has never been found. There’s been no sign of her using her bank accounts or anything like that since she disappeared.
The mystery of what happened to her remains unsolved.
