- Ellis disappeared on January 8, 2018, from Greybull, Wyoming. He’d been at Bear Lodge in the mountains and called his dad before getting a ride to town with a woman who gave him some money. Nobody has heard from him since.
Ellis was a religious man who traveled a lot, sometimes going on spiritual trips for up to two weeks. He’d been to places like California and Texas. But he always contacted his family, and this time he’s been gone much longer than usual. He also didn’t usually carry a phone or ID.
The police still don’t know what happened to him.
