- In March 2015, after a fishing trip, Rugg went missing on his way home to Katy, Texas. Nobody saw him again. Five years later, in January 2020, his body was found in the woods in nearby Polk County. It wasn’t until March 2022 that they were positively identified as Rugg’s. Police are still trying to figure out what happened.
