- Details of Disappearance:
- Donald and Karen Johnston, and their friends Monte and Linda Parrish, went missing on June 29, 1997. They took off from Anchorage, Alaska in a small yellow and white plane (a Cessna 182, registration number N3186U). They didn’t tell anyone where they were going, but probably planned a scenic flight over Denali National Park. The plane was seen flying over the park, then disappeared. Nobody has seen the plane or the four people on board since then. It’s believed they crashed, but no one has ever found any wreckage.
