- Details of Disappearance:
- On June 19, 2016, Donald and Roger Kimberly disappeared at sea with their family. They were sailing from Sarasota, Florida, to Fort Myers, Florida, on their 29-foot white sailboat (FL4414HP) with yellow stripes. Their dad, Ace, and 17-year-old sister, Rebbacca, were also on board.
Around 3:00 p.m., Ace called his brother to say they were in a bad storm with big waves about 37 miles from Englewood, Florida, and fighting to stay alive. Nobody ever heard from them again.
Four days later, the wreckage of their boat was found near Sanibel Island. Sadly, Rebbacca and Ace’s bodies were recovered, but Donald and Roger are still missing and are believed to have drowned.
