Lawrence has a tattoo of a red snake on his right upper arm near his shoulder, a tattoo of a green dragon on his left arm, and a tattoo of a black and gray design with scales on his chest. Photos of the tattoos are posted with this case summary. He had scars on his left wrist, his left shoulder and near his left eye. He had a gray beard at the time of his disappearance, and he may wear eyeglasses. He is missing some teeth.

- On January 29, 2019, Lawrence called his mom from a Dollar Tree in Fort Bragg, California. He said he was getting a flashlight. The next day, he made a couple more calls – one to a college about school, and one to a friend. His last call was to his friend at 10:06 pm on January 30th. After that, no one heard from him again.
Lawrence didn’t have a permanent home and was likely camping nearby. It wasn’t until March 28th that anyone reported him missing to the police. There’s not much information to help find him.
