A woman named Cooksey went missing from Gaffney, South Carolina on June 11, 2018. Almost three years later, in February 2021, her body was found in the woods near Matthew Drive in the same town. Her purse, with her ID and credit cards, was found close by. The police used dental records to confirm it was her. They think she took her own life.
