- In the winter of 1983-84, Pinkston was last seen by family in Detroit. She disappeared and hasn’t been seen or heard from since. Because she often hitchhiked, she might have been traveling back to her hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio, or somewhere else in Ohio. She graduated from Withrow High School in Cincinnati in 1969 and had been accepted to Howard University to study English. Not much is known about what happened to her.
