- On October 19, 2020, Baird went for a hike alone near Ketchum, Idaho. She signed a trail log saying she was going to a lake and back. The trail was a 10-mile loop. She never returned.
Her hotel noticed she didn’t check out and reported her missing. Her car was left at the trailhead. Searchers looked for six days, but bad weather made it hard to find her.
Baird lived in Utah and worked in real estate. Her family said she liked hiking, but stuck to the trails. Since she disappeared, there’s been no activity on her accounts. It’s believed she may have gotten lost or hurt on the hike.
