Details of Disappearance:
Floy disappeared from her Beaverton, Oregon home on February 23, 1978, after going shopping. She was never seen again, and her belongings and a large inheritance were gone. Her husband, Bob, claimed she ran away with another man. Her rental car was found at home five days later, with some clothes and suitcases missing. Bob divorced her two weeks after she vanished.

Later, in 1989, Bob was convicted of murdering and dismembering a friend in Utah. This crime happened years after Floy’s disappearance and is unrelated. Although Bob isn’t a suspect in Floy’s case, police think she was murdered. No one ever used her bank accounts or credit cards after February 1978, and she never collected her final paycheck. Floy’s disappearance remains a mystery.
