- Francisco went missing from Baja, California on August 30, 2000. A bad man, a convicted child molester named Francisco Daniel Phalen Hernandez, took him. Nine years later, in March 2009, Francisco was found safe in Chicago. He didn’t have any ID, but the police figured out who he was because he was on a missing children list. The bad man wasn’t with him, and police think he’s still out there.
