- On April 30, 1992, Sanchez, a Guatemalan immigrant living in Los Angeles with his family, vanished. This was the second day of the Los Angeles riots, a time of widespread violence, looting, and crime. The riots were huge, causing many deaths and injuries, and the military had to step in to stop the chaos. It’s unknown if the riots are connected to Sanchez’s disappearance, but he was never seen or heard from again, and he left his last paycheck unclaimed. There’s very little information about what happened to him.
