Details of Disappearance:
Gina disappeared from her hometown of Fredericktown, Missouri on August 5, 1989. After a baseball game, she went for a bike ride around 10 PM and never came home. Her family reported her missing at 2 AM.

Witnesses saw Gina talking to someone in a beat-up light-colored station wagon near her church before she rode off. Later, people heard screaming and saw a car speeding away. Gina’s bike was found abandoned a few blocks from her house.

Three men became suspects: Nathan Williams, Bryant Squires, and Timothy Bellew. A witness said Williams was in the station wagon with Gina the night she vanished. Squires, the suspected driver, reportedly confessed to his involvement on his deathbed. Bellew lied to the FBI about where Gina’s body was.

Williams was charged with murder but the charges were dropped in 2003 due to lack of evidence, although police believe he killed Gina. Bellew was also charged with murder, but the charge was dropped. He was convicted of lying to investigators and served time in prison.

Even though authorities suspect these men were involved in Gina’s death, there wasn’t enough evidence to convict them. Williams has a history of violent crimes and is a suspect in other unsolved cases. Gina’s body has never been found.
