- Details of Disappearance:
- In June 1989, Brenda Quisenberry disappeared in Thomasville, Georgia. People saw her boyfriend, Jerry Hobbs, carrying her at a women’s shelter. Hobbs claimed she got drunk and passed out in a trailer, and when he came back, she was gone. Her family reported her missing in August and suspected foul play, especially since she was close to them and her pregnant daughter. They had a history of violence.
Police reopened the case in 2009, finding blood in the trailer. Hobbs was arrested and charged with murder, but said what happened was “between him and God.” The charges were dropped due to lack of evidence, and he later died in Washington state. Because of the violence and the suspicious circumstances, police still believe Quisenberry’s disappearance was a crime.
