On July 4th, 1997, after a fireworks show at Lake Thunderbird near Oklahoma City, a woman named Petersen got into a truck with a man she didn’t know. He was described as a white man, around 40 years old, about 6 feet tall, 180 pounds, with brown hair and a mustache. They were last seen in his dark-colored Chevy pickup truck (possibly a 1990 or 1991 model) on Highway 9. Petersen vanished and hasn’t been seen or heard from since.
